Adjust headphone volume separate from monitor volume?

Hello,

I am having an issue where the output to my monitors maxes out at a soft to medium level, but that same monitor level causes the headphones to be extremely loud. I have adjusted all the gain inputs, etc

Can these two monitors outputs (headphones & monitors) have their respective levels adjusted independently?

No. No individual control of that inside the DP, anyway. The headphone out and the monitor outs are wired in parallel *after* the monitor volume control.

Very odd. The DP/24/32/SD Monitor circuit has a maximum output of +14 dBu at the analog jacks. More than enough to drive any active monitor speaker pair to deafening levels.

Assuming powered monitors, are they turned up?
