Hello, I am really looking for some help with a issue I need to solve for my company.
We currently own a very old CD Dulpicator made by tascam. It's model number is CD-d17hd. Some of the CD drives on the model have gone bad, and I would like to replace them. Upon buying new drives however that were not OEM, we found that the drives did not get recognized by the controller. I am wondering if there is a way to create a software mod on the mainframe that will allow it to pick up external Cd drives or if I am fighting a losing battle. Let me know if there is anything that I can do to possibly make this work. I know that the technology is from the stone age, but I would still like to try it.
