DM24
Hey guys, tried just about everything I could think of with getting the DM24 to work as a controller completely with my Cubase 9.5 elements version. This was working a few years back with Cubase 5. Im really wanting to use a more tactile approach rather than the mouse for fader mixes for a fluid process. I recently just purchases the 2seemy as my screen was shot and finally got some new life in the mixer so I'd like to use it more fully. The faders on Cubase mute ect... all will move the faders ect on the DM24, but not the other way around. I'm pretty sure I had the MMC closed loop selected before on the DM24 with TRA enabled. But it doesnt seem to allow it now for some reason and I'm able to only select MMC open. In Cubase 9 there's a Tascam DM 24 option but no luck with it either. I've attached my screenshots for settings. Hoping someone could point me in the right direction as I'd love to get this figured out. Many hours scratching my head. I know it's an older mixer but I still think it's pretty useful. :)

Thanks so much,
Jason

HUI mode only allows 8 channels of DAW control.
This guy set up the DM to have 32 fader control of Cubase over the MIDI connections. NOT over firewire, over the MIDI connections, you need an interface of some kind.
He has a link in the comments section of his video where you can download his files and he has screen shots of what it should look like too. Other users report it working well on Cubase 8.5, I see no reason it should not work in Cubase 9 as well, it's all midi.

Ok I posted the steps you have to take to control Cubase from a DM24 in the document section here.
I am controlling transport, mutes, record, and Faders using this set up right now!
