I have a old Korg D3200 that I plan to replace with an (already here) DP24SD. The Korg backs up songs as .DBK files, which are already safe on my laptop computer.

Is there any way to use these files to restore the content onto the DP24SD? I would assume the settings portions would not be usable, but I am looking for a fast way to transfer the tracks. Transferring maybe 300 audio files one-by-one does not sound fun.

Ideas or tips?

If that works, it will be a HUGE benefit. If it doesn't, you still deserve pie!

I turned on the D3200 a couple days ago, and the hard drive was making noises - never done that before.

Thanks!

Interim report-

I downloaded the program, and ignored the "may be harmful" warning.

I selected one of the DBK files and set it loose. It quickly gave me a list of WAV files. The first I tried was just pink noise. The second was a bass track!

I figure I can convert all of the DBK files to WAV in about 10-15 minutes. I can rename and weed-out at my leisure, or when I need one.

Much better than move file to clipboard, move to virtual drive, wait for it to transfer, open virtual drive on lap-top, drag file over, do again a hundred times.

Thanks!
