DM-3200 and Studio One

hi. Trying to setup my tascam with studio one. Only 8 faders are working. When enable 9-16. They only mirror 1-8. On the ext set up on tascam it only shows options for 8 not 16. Please help!

Are you using windows or OSX? For the control surface end of things you have to setup a Mackie Control (1-8) and a Mackie Control Extender (9-16). Hope this helps.

You need to add 2 Mackie controls in Studio One. Configure Mackie Control 1 as Port 5 for MIDI Input/MIDI Output and Mackie Control 2 to Port 6 Input/MIDI Output for correct operation.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, you need to to add 2 HUI devices in the REMOTE > EXT.CTRL screen for fader banks 1-8 and 9-16. Refer to page 93 of the DM3200 manual.

And you need, in external devices, to push the placement botton and drag both mackie control up in group 1.

Worked for me with Studio one 3 on a DM 4800 , but i have not found how to generate a MTC .
