i just bought a used unit. I needed a new power adapter. Bought PS-P520E. Amazon said this was the replacement power but I think it’s the PS-1225L. Is that correct?

When I hit the on button, screen lights up for 2 seconds. Says nothing. Then off. Suggestions?

Hi George, I don't have a DP-03, but according to the Tascam website, the PSUs have different current ratings:
PS-1225L is 12v at 2.5A http://tascam.com/store/ps-1225l/
PS-P520E is 12v at 2A http://tascam.com/product/ps-p520e/
The DP-03 is only listed with the PS-1225L, so I think you're right and the DP-03 really does need the extra current.
Have checked on Amazon (UK) and they have both PSUs - are you sure you didn't mis-read the listing and confuse the DP-03 with the DR-03?
