Dp01fx poor recording or playback quality

I just got my unit and the first couple of times I've tried recording, I'm noticing that the fidelity of the simultaneous monitoring and recording playback are both sound kind of distant and lo-fi. Is that just this machine, or am I doing something wrong?

Did you receive the instruction guides and owner manual?

That's like saying "how come my car won't start".

Please be more specific:
List the steps you've followed in the quick start guide, the FAQs, or the owner manual.
Tell us your level of experience/knowledge so we won't talk over your head.
What are your signal sources and input/output settings?
What do the meters indicate?
Etc.

The more information you provide, the better the chances of helping you.

Hi Mark. Thanks for the reply. I shot some electronics cleaner into the instrument input and now it’s clear as a bell. Thanks.
