How do I use the reverb on Tascam DP-24SD

I have never had any problems using reverb on my past porta studios.
But I just can't get it to work on my new DP-24SD.

I turn on the send effect, choose a pre set in reverb from the library.
I press the mixer buttom.
Turning the Send effect 1 on to post.
And I use the knob for send effect 1.

Why doesn't it work?
Can somebody please enlight me?

Hint: Look to the right of the Send 1 knob: Master 1.

Thank you for your reply. I've been doing what you suggest and still can't get it to work.
Guess I need to look at it again.
Thought it would be a simple thing adding reverb to track.
But I will listen Phil Tipping's videos again at work today

The master send effect solved my issue. I thought the master send knob would effect all tracks at once but it doesn't as long as the effect send is off on those channels where I don't want any reverb.
