How to get mono tracks, US1800, Win7, Sonar 8

In Sonar 8 producer, I seem to only have stereo pairs but need mono tracks to record my band. I have cubase LE5 loaded and I got mono tracks on it ok but like Sonar better. Any help?

I'm a Cubase user, but I expect that Sonar 8 would force you to choose one side or the other as an input to a mono track. If the track itself is stereo, you'd choose stereo pairs.
