I have a situation with my Neo 2488 where the internal faders (even on a brand new song) are not at zero on channels 1, 2 and 3. Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi!

Try this..........

--Press "Menu" button and select "Preferences".

--Select "Mixer"

It may say "JUMP" or "CATCH"

--change it to "REAL" and hit OK.

This will tell the 2488 that the internal faders and physical faders are identical.

Make sure that all physical faders are full down.

--Save this as a scene (if you'd like me to describe this, I'd be happy to).

--Go back and return your mixer preference to its previous setting ("JUMP" or "CATCH")

-- Before touching a fader, check your physical vs internal faders; they SHOULD be the same as one another.

--If all goes well, you can always load this scene to reset everything to zero.

Let me know if this solves your problem!

Thanks!

Ken

Thanks Ken,
I will try your idea later and give an update.

Thanks Ken,
That did work.
I appreciate it.
Note: I also used a contact cleaner lubricating spray on the faders 1, 2 and 3 that I was having issues with. They are much smoother and working fine now.
Thanks again.

Hi Jim,

That's great news! Thank you for letting me know. Contact cleaner can really save old faders/buttons. I had an old unit with VERY sticky faders; some FaderLube brought them completely back to life. It cost me about $8 (American) for a tiny little tube of it, but well, well worth it.
