I just joined this excellent forum. I've been working with Tascam equipment for most of my professional career in studios and playing live. I acquired a Tascam 2488 MKII a few years ago and have built my home studio around it and other Tascam equipment. As I've mentioned above, a friend of mine inherited a Tascam 8 from his brother and doesn't have much use for it. So I am trying to find a way to get him to let me "borrow" it on a permanent basis.
