IF-FW/DM Firewire card error DM-24

Hey to all.

I have a problem with my old dm-24 and the espansion firewire card.
It's recognized by the mixer but in the slot panel display it shows me an

"1394 Status: ERROR"

The FW connection is not shown up when I connect to a pc/mac.
As I can remember, it worked well before our technician updated the mixer to v3.x.

Any help/advice on this? Or is the FW card just "dead"...
