I just received my new DP24SD and my first finished song sounds awesome. I have used a Zoom R8 for many years but I like the sound of the Tascam better. It has this nice soft tone to it. I have firmware 1.02 0013 on my device.
Question: the send effects only seem to react when choosing from the pre settings in the library. Turning the jog wheel in the type window doesn’t result in any significant change. In the delay library for example there are no pre settings for panning and multi tap and turning the jog wheel doesn’t bring up their effect. Am I missing something here? I have both the send master 1 and effect return on 127.
UPDATE: ok, I got it. I had to crank up the different settings of the effects for them to have their effect. They sound a bit borderline compared to the Zoom’s.
