Keyboard foot pedal chord assignable

Just a daft question for some of you lads who play in bands , our keyboard player has gone AWOL , just lost interest in playing in a band we think , simple question , is there a foot switch assignable to Chords progressions in a simple way which can be used by me as a guitarist , which i can program for a song and then move through the chords when required , i used a yamaha keyboard years ago with the chords mapped out, then progressed using a footswitch , through the song , it worked , but thought maybe there might be something else out there, but a bit more user friendly so to speak , or just get a new keyboard player ?

Hello Dunny....If I understand you there are keyboards that can do what you propose. I have a Roland DS-61 that has a usb port that you can import songs or riffs your create and use the 8 phrase pads to trigger them. You can check it out here
