M16 to M24 transfer.

If I load my m16 with recorded tracks and then transfer the SD card to my m24 how will the tracks transfer? 1to1, 2to2, etc?

Tascam made song format compatible across the Models, so it is very likely.

Not that I know flock-all...I have to remember which way the pointy end of the guitar goes every time I sit down to play...

BUT - if I were me: I'd suggest making backups of your work...then try it. If the second machine corrupts the card or mangles the data, you've still got what you've done (and learned the answer to your question!).

Quick update.
I stumbled on this enlighting note while browsing the Model 16 OM:

Loading a song from a unit with fewer channels on a unit with more channels

When loading a song from a unit with fewer channels on a
unit with more channels, empty tracks will be created for theadditional channels and the song will be converted for use withthe model with more channels before loading.
