New member, and US-1800 USB question

Hello, my name is Fernando, posting from Argentina (Y).
I wanted to know if you know a source to buy a new USB board for a Tascam USB-1800.

I see a lot of people with problems with that board, so I guess there is a problem with that part, and I hope Tascam sells a spare part to replace the whole board. Tracing a fail in such a small thing will be extremely time consuming, I think it doesn't worth the time, I see easier to replace the complete USB board.

Hi, I am also having issue with connecting the US 1800 with my PC (windows doesn't recognize the device. says it has malfunctioned,) I tried with a different usb cable as well but its the issue that PC doesn't recognize it, can there be an issue with Tascam's USB Port?? if yes, could anyone please help me in this, I would really appreciate this.

P.S. I don't consider myself as tech savvy person so I might take time to understand highly technical stuff.
