Recording audio from internet with Tascam DM 3200

happy new year people,

I want to be able to record into logic x or live from YouTube but we are having zero success.

The Internet plays through the desk fine and is showing in channel 17-18.

This is driving me nuts. It feels so close but oh so far away.

Any help would be greatfully received.

Are your sample rates the same? If your mixer is set to 48/88.1/96kz, and you're trying to capture 16/44.1 material, you'll have problems.

If that's not the case, then it's likely a routing problem. You may have only half of the signal routed correctly - to the DM's input channels 17/18. But you also have to assign the internet audio to a DM output (preferably OUTPUT SLOT [Routing/Tab3) then to a pair of Logic tracks. I cannot advise on how to route in Logic, but maybe somebody else can.
