Recording multitrack with US 16x08 on iPad?

The specs indicate that the TASCAM US 16x08 is compatible with iOS. I have a recent iPad Pro and was wondering if it would work. The *only* thing I care about is capturing 12-16 tracks of a live recording. I don't care about latency or lack of FX or monitoring, just capture the raw tracks. Presonus has a software called Capture that supposedly works in multi-track although I would be happy to purchase and use any multitrack recording iPad software that would work with the Tascam interface.
