Song Protected Error Message

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong. I am trying to play Wav files from Audacity. So this is how I am doing it. I connected the USB cable and copied 3 WAV files to the Audio Depot Folder, they show up but when I try to import them I get Caution Song Protected error message. Am I missing a step and how to I unprotect the Wav files. FYI the Wav files I am trying to import meet the 44.1 16 bit format so I don't think that is the cause..

Have to made a new song file with 44.1 16 bit?Is the card itself protected?
Are you adding those files to something you already recorded and you put protection on it.Press song and in the list see protect song,is there a un protect there?
