sx-1 upgrade 1.0 to 1.51

Hello all its me again
sorry to be a pain but can anybody tell me if by upgrading from 1.0 to 1.51 you need also some
hardware upgrade? as i have been told this by a Tascam dealer technician who says the hardware is
no longer available. if this is so is it obtainable second hand
can anybody help

Try asking for OS disc 1.52, which is the most recent upgrade. No hardware needed.

Spoke to my tascam dealer and he can't get any upgrade disks
is there anybody over in the USA who could supply any

The files and instructions for burning your own OS 1.52 CD are here: https://dev.tascam-parc.com/sx1/OS_CD/SX-1_V152_LE_Full/ but I can't remember what the password is to get to the page. Message Redbus to get you in.

not done it yet
I'm waiting for an upgrade disc to be delivered from tascam
could'nt down load upgrade files so ordered a disc through another
forum member
will let you know the outcome
