Tascam DA-45HR timing issue

I have a DA-45HR. It plays a DAT for a while then the display flashes off then back on. While the display is blank, there is also no sound. I assume this is a problem with the clock. Is this adjustable or is a part needed? If a part is needed does anyone know where to get it? Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but
I couldn't find a better sub forum.
