Tascam DM 4800 +UAD Apollo 8 Thunderbolt

Hi,
I have 2 tascam dm 4800 FireWire Card.
I just purchased 1 apollo 8 thunderbolt.
Can I use it with my tascam 4800?
If yes how to connect both.

I have the same. I just use the adat now. Firewire card is pretty much useless for me now. I mostly rely on the UA and use the tascam as a glorified controller and if I really need extra tracks, then just adat into the UA.

Are you mixing in the box , or with the Mixer.
I mean , how are you doing your summing?
