Transferring files from my computer to my new Tascam 32SD

I backed up my songs on to my computer from my Tascam 2488MKII. I just bought the Tascam DP32SD and I am wanting to transfer those files from my computer that I backed up from the 2488, I want to put them on my DP32SD. They did not backup as wav files on my computer, am I still able to transfer those files into the DP32SD and use them. If so can you please explain how. Thank you

On the DP-xx, Import/Export is via Audio Depot and requires WAV format files.

You'd need to have them on the 2488 and EXPORT them, which will create WAV files of each track in the FAT partition, which then can be copied to your computer and those can be imported into the DP.

And don't they export off the 2488 as 16 bit - so then would have to be imported to a song with that format?
