Use DP-24sd with Mackie DL16s

Never mind. Looks like I found my answer. Sorry for cross post

So I just purchased the DP-24sd am awaiting for it to arrive and I’m wondering if I can use two of my aux sends from the mackie to mic inputs on the the dp-24sd.

we have more inputs from our band than we the 24sd allows to do a live recording.
2 guitars
1 bass
2 vox
2 keyboards
4 drum mics.

so to record a rehearsal would this method work or is there a better way?

I looked up the Mackie. That is one SYK piece o’ gear!!!

Won’t bother with answering yr inputs dilemma, since you probly figgered it out already. Easy-peasy…although (like you need me to tell you this) everything that goes into that DP input from the Mackie will be recorded on the same channel on the DP…so mix carefully…
