I haven't used my Tascam TM-D1000 in awhile. Pulled it out and accidentally plugged the power supply for a printer (30v - 500Ma) instead of the proper (12v - 4000Ma). Fired it up fpr a couple seconds and stopped working. Is the fix an easy one?...fuse perhaps? Was an honest but stupid mistake since I have afew power supplys in one area running various devices. Thanks in advance.

Hey, I've got a similar problem. I accidentally plugged my power adapter into a 220 outlet and fried it, so I found another adapter that worked, but the plug was slightly smaller, and wasn't secure in the socket, and I had to angle it so it made a connection. Eventually, doing that one too many times, the power connection came loose. I need to fix the power connector on the chipboard but am wondering if anyone else has experience doing this? I don't want to mess it up!
