My 2488 MKII worked great until I changed the Metronome from FREE to REC or REC/PLAY. I changed nothing in the Tempo at 120 (which was the original setting from the factory)
Now with the 2488 as MASTER, all the MIDIs from connected equipment (Roland XP-60 as the SLAVE) play too fast when monitoring the output from the Roland. I changed the Metronome back to FREE with no change to the tempo.
Also please note that this only occurs now with MIDI input. The previously recorded songs play fine. Also setting the Roland back from SLAVE to INTERNAL (MASTER) the tempo is fine.
The settings on the 2488 is:
Synchronization: Internal
Frame Type: 30
Offset: 00 : oo : 00 : 00
Generator: Clock or Off
Remote:
(There is no Mode setting on my 2488)
MMC: Master
Device ID: ALL
Remote Control:
(Changing these does not effect the tempo)
Program Change Scene: ON
Program Change Eff: ON
Control Change: ON
How do I restore the 2488 to use whatever the tempo is set in the MIDIs which is what it did before I got creative with the Metronome?
