2488 VGA output mod

I've seen a VGA output modification for 2488 Mk l on eBay, anyone here have this mod, if so, what are your impressions of it? Thanks.

Yep - really good. Easy enough to fit and makes a great portastudio even better in my opinion.
It just works.
If you can afford it go straight ahead!
