Hi ... was recording an audio feed for a live concert video from the soundesk at the weekend ... there were levels on the outputs assigned to my Tascam on the desk, I had to turn the gain up to Hi+ on inputs 1 and 2 on the Tascam, the levels up to 97 on the screen display to see the bars hit -20 to -12db but on playback the recordings are almost impossible to hear ... is on latest firmware ... Hi+ and 95% doesn't feel right to me but sound engineer said nothing was wrong on his end ... any clues ? ... happy to upload a file to listen to or check settings back through ...
I'd like to record again for another shoot in a couple of weeks but need to know what went wrong here first !
