For years I've been using the track sheet that (I think) MJK created (thank you;)). But I've always wanted an additional or alternate one that was laid out like the tracks and V-tracks are in my mind - hopefully that makes sense. With this sheet (created in Excel) - I can see everything I've got and know where it is - relative to tracks and V-tracks. It's obviously really helpful as a project grows and things get kinda confusing after multiple takes, moving things to adjacent tracks, etc. It's not perfect - but still, I think it can be helpful.

There is one here for both the DP-32(SD) and the DP-24(SD).

If you'd like to have the original .xlsx file so that you can edit it to your own liking - feel free to email me and I can send it to you (after a PayPal payment of $500.00US of course :D).

You'll notice that I did not provide an area to name the sheet or put any other information. This was deliberate in that I wanted/needed to make the cell grid as large as possible in order to be able to write in them. And even then - some sort of personal short-hand will likely be necessary. Any other information can simply be written on the back - or maybe ad sticky tabs or something. And perhaps just keeping it in a project-specific folder might be the way.

I had to convert the .xlsx to .pdf in order to attach it here - I did a test print and all looks good on my end.

Anyway - here it is if you think it might be useful.:)

If possible, I would like to see the other track sheet that mjk created.

A few years ago I made a sheet using the picture in the manual

I tried to attach the Track sheet I came up with, but the system would not let me upload a file (it's a PowerPoint) Suggestions??/

did convert to PDF, but I'm still getting a "you do not have permission to view this page or perform this action"

Hmmm.... not sure. Seems like all I did was convert my file to pdf - and then simply drag and drop the new pdf file right into my post. Testing...

Yep - it worked.

You can't directly upload a file to the forum. You'll have to put your document on a cloud drive somewhere and link to it.

Thanks, David. I've been a lurker on this forum for a very long time, and never needed to post a question because so many of you answered the other questions perfectly.

I want to share my own track sheet that I use with my original DP32. It has the track number on the left, and the virtual tracks on the right.

Things used to get a little crazy sometimes trying to keep track of all of the virtual tracks when recording like -mjk- does. I use some of his techniques like custom songs and virtual track sub mixes.

That's why I created my own track sheet that I have used for many years. I hope it helps someone.
