Hi all,

After fixing the previous issue, removing unwanted "noise" from the REC switches engaging, I've put the machine back together and encountered a bizarre issue. I'm getting 0 playback from tape source.

I've gone through, trying to comb out wires and connections I may have misremembered or put in incorrectly but alas, nothing as of yet. Everything else works, recording works, erasing works (I did playback confirmation on another machine), LINE/MIC Inputs ALL work but I'm getting absolutely nothing, on meters, or via monitor/tape from tape playback. I've checked voltages on the Power Supply PCB and everything seems to be in order, albeit the only thing I'm not 100% about is connections P4 to MONITOR B PCB which all read -12v, but it's consistent on every connection.

Also, I'm almost certain its not the matrix routing (can always be wrong), I've tried every scene and even inputted my own and I just can't get sound from a tape.

Any guidance or advice on areas to check would be appreciated. I feel like I'm getting lost in the machine at this point and not seeing any obvious, which I feel like this issue is.

UPDATE - At this point I should just stop jinxing myself! I've solved it (again). This might be useful for anyone else. The muting circuit was engaged by Q1 (power mute) on the PS PCB. This was supplying the wrong voltage to P6 (to BUSS PCB) causing the playback to mute completely. Replacing this has fixed the issue.
