New FW-1884 owner here. So far it seems to be working OK on Win10 with Studio One. I haven't tested any other DAW's yet. Reaper is next.
Every other interface I have owned (Presonus, Focusrite, Motu, RME, M-Audio) has come with a mixer app that lets you set levels & mute channels etc. outside of the DAW. This is extremely useful for when you want to mute the direct input signal and only hear what is going coming out of a plug-in for example.
I'm not seeing how this can be done with the FW-1884. The control panel doesn't let you do any of this. I haven't heard of any other apps for this thing. It must be possible.
Could anyone enlighten me on how this is done?

Update: I think I figured it out.
It's done with the 'Mon Mix' button. Hit Mon Mix, select 'Inputs" then move the desired slider to minimum. Then go back to 'Computer' and you won't hear the direct input, you'll only hear what is coming out of the DAW. Finally makes sense.
