I just replaced the optical drive in my RW900SL using the TEAC drive purchased from TEAC specified for the unit. I can attach the IDE cable to the Mini IDE adapter without attaching the power cable and the unit powers on, digital display on front lights up etc. But when I plug in the power cable to the Mini IDE adapter the unit will not power on. I have attached a picture of the cables and the power cable unattached. Any suggestions? Would the Master Slave jumper have anything to do with this?
