Hi.
I filled up my first 32GB card the other day.
Ha, while I was recording.
I offloaded a folder to free up some space.
Though the bit bucket filled up fast.
Somehow I managed to get the unit frozen during a mastering.
I'd never be able to retrace the steps I took that led to the freeze.
The record button was blinking.
Some controls responded.
Nothing I tried would push it on to complete the master.
So I unplugged it.
I got two new 32GB disks yesterday so I'm back in business (hobby business)
I spend much of my time now in my room with the unit.
I hold a guitar, strum it, hum along, explore chords and rhythms. For hours.
This is new for me.
For the last few years I'd pick up the guitar, strum it for 5 minutes and then put it back on the stand.
Then the other day I simply thought - no - you're going to stick with this.
A couple weeks now, of following this routine, it's become like a habit.
My fingers are tougher than they've been in a long time.
I've recorded many tunes too.
I sit, strum, wonder, think, dream and when a certain inexplicable moment wafts by, I hit the record button.
Then the loop starts.
The feedback loop of recording sounds, hearing them and pushing the idea onward.
So best wishes to all us recording enthusiasts.
