Clicking Noise with DR-05x

Hi there,

hope you are well.

I have a Tascam DR-05x and for some reason it’s started doing this strange thing -
When I monitor or start recording it makes a ticking noise. This noise goes away when I press Menu, whilst still recording or monitoring..

anyone heard or experienced this before? It’s only just started happening and I have no idea why?
