Hi folks,
I've noticed that a crackling sound has appeared when I tried to record a lead guitar part (the 8th track of the song I’m working on). I think the crackle is worse when I pan left and possibly more pronounced on some tracks than others, but I can’t be sure about that.
The main observation is that I only hear the crackle when tracks are played together, not when I solo the channels. Individually, the tracks are clear as a bell!
Through a process of elimination, I’ve managed to rule out my headphones, guitar, leads, preamp, power pack and pedals. I’ve checked that nothing is peaking out but everything is comfortably below the threshold. I also have the latest version of firmware.
I would really appreciate any help or suggestions with this. I’m banging my head against the wall!
