Different .wav file lengths Tascam M-12 to DAW

Hello,

when I'm importing the MTR .wav track files from the Model-12 into Ableton all the files have a different length. Is there a solution for that? How can all the files have the same length? Or how does ableton know eg the timestamp?

The files can have different end points but otherwise always share the same time base and start point - this always defined by the start of the first track you lay down.

I haven’t had any issues with tracks getting out of synch on Model 12.

the only time is if I inadvertently slide a clip in the DAW after importing them.
