Using ADAT cards in slots 3 & 4, I amd trying to hook up the DM 4800 to 16 of the 24 tracks on my Mackie HDR 24/96 recorder. (still old project on there & want to access them.)
I am having all kinds of trouble with the routing on this board. I can record channel 1 to track 1, channel 2 to track 2 ect... Not what I want though! How do you set up the input / output routing so I can bus any channel to any track. Nothing seems to work & I'm wondering if I have a defective board or something. Had the same problem with Pro Tools.
Also, how would I get the transport to work on the recorder? There is no USB on the HDR.
