Hi I have just joined this forum and have finally had time to start using a DP02 properly that I bought 2nd hand about 5 years ago ... I know... embarrassing eh ... Unfortunately when I first made some tracks originally I chose not to read the manual and dove straight in recording some weird and wonderful synth stuff. I am now in the situation where i have recorded several "tracks" with space between but all under the title "Song 1". there is no room left on the card and I am unable to master the main track that I want to keep at the start of the card. I am also unable to delete anything because the DP02 thinks I am trying to add more data to a full card.
Does anyone have any idea how I
1) Erase part of an existing song to free up some memory on the 1Gb card (it came with the device
so I can master the first 3 mins (the only bit I want to keep)
2) Master a part of an existing song that does not start at zero (i.e track 2 is within song1 but appears at say 10 mins into the track
3) any other way to download the first 3 mins of the song on this card
