First off, I've got to say to those who have a NEO, don't get rid of it or let it break.
While the DP32 SD has some advantages, it lacks a lot of features that the NEO has.
I don't want to get into detail right now.
So my question: On the NEO you can assign (8max) input effects ( vocal comp, exciter, etc) to tracks 1-24 as well as inputs A-H. On the DP32 you can assign the input effects to the inputs (A-H) ONLY. Is this correct, or am I missing something?
I have a DP32SD and want to apply compression to an already recorded bass track.
I guess I could send the track out through a send (1 or 2) and physically return it to an input (A~H) to be recorded onto a different track and apply the input effect that way. But, then I can't alter the effect at a later time because it will have been recorded that way. That sucks....
Does anybody have another idea?
Thanks much
