- Tascam FW-1082
after I finally managed to install the FW-1082 driver (1.80) on my W10 (H20) PC with a little trick*, it receives/sends, which I can tell by the responding midi level display in Cubase (LE 9,5), when I press a button...
but the FW-1082 (computer mode) doesn't control anything in cubase (faders, mute, select etc). I have the Mackie Control setting on (Cubase) and the FW light is green.
Why is that?
*when you download the Tascam driver (1,80) to your PC, the EXE file has a different symbol (white with blue). When you right-click it, you don't get the option to run it in W7 mode. That means it's impossible to install it on a W10 system.
The trick is to copy that file to a different folder (documents etc) and there you have it: the typical EXE symbol (a PC and CD). Now, all the options are back
