I am having an odd issue. I've got my 1884 running fine on my dual core 2.5GHz Win7 Pro SP1 desktop.

I've also got a Toshiba Satellite A665-s6095 with quad 2.5GHz and 8GB RAM running Win7 Home Premium SP1. Despite the same installation method and drivers as used on the desktop (1.80), the interface begins to click and loses sync as soon as I click to launch Pro Tools (versions 10 and 11). I can use the 1884 in ASIOFW1884 mode without issue in Reaper, can get Mixbus 3 to at least launch at times but the instant I try launching Pro Tools, no dice! My guess is that out of a hundred attempts, Pro Tools has actually launched and been able to play audio using hat driver only two or three times. NOTE: I ave the same problems if the Toshiba runs on Windows 10. I tried and have rolled back to Win7.

I've got a certified SIIG firewire ExpressCard confirmed to be running a TI chip. I'm running the legacy driver just as I do on the desktop. I've swapped out cables and still have the same problem.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
