On a DM 24 you can choose what comes into a channel in the routing input screen.
The input or the return.
On a DM4800 you can also fill them in (INP= M/L 1 and RTN = Slot1 -1) but both are connected and I can't find a way to choose what is connected to the channel. The only way to get things in the DM is choosing the right input, is that correct ?
So what is the use for the RTN field, is only for easier switching via source invert ? I cant imagin. Ik think I'm overlooking something but don't know what. Any help is appreciated.
