Issues using DR-40X as audio interface with Macbook pro iOS sequoia 15.7.1

Hello
I've been trying to use my DX-40X as an audio interface on a MacBook Pro laptop running iOS Sequoia 15.7.1 for several days.
I'm not using a hub. I'm going directly to the MacBook's USB 3.
I turn on the DX-40X, the USB menu appears, I select Audio I/F
I choose iOS, 48K, and press execute.
The unit always shuts off and my MacBook never recognizes it.
I updated it to the latest firmware, but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
