Issues w M12 and 2022 iPad Pro iOS 16

Hi, is anyone successfully using the M12 with a new iPad? I can’t get my iPad 2022 M2 chip, USB C port iPad pro running iLS 16 to recognize my M12. No apps see it.
Any ideas? Anyone with this iPad successfully getting it to recognize the M12?

Make sure you are not in Storage Mode or the USB audio is not available.
