Can someone put me out of my misery.
(Maybe I'm trying to do something the Model 12 just cannot do).
This is not in DAW mode, just in normal default mode.
I have tracks 1-8 recorded on my Model 12.
I have a guitar recorded on track 1 and would like to send that signal to a track in Garageband on my iPad.
I have the Tascam and iPad connected okay, and if I switch track 1 to "Live" and play my guitar, it's signal shows in the Garageband track I have assigned to Model 12 Input 1. Exactly right. The Interface input is behaving just as as an input should.
Having recorded the guitar dry on track 1 in the Tascam SD though, I'd like to now play that back and have Garageband still see the signal coming through on Input 1, so I can apply AU effects and whatnot in GB.
Is there a setting in the Model 12 to have the signal sent to USB from the recorded track, rather than directly from the Input??
I've been using the Model 12 for a year or so now, mostly for audio tracking, and have begun to feel quite comfortable with it. Suddenly though I now feel like a complete newb - it seems like such a basic question..
