Mute mains

I just got the Sd03 8 track. Is it possible to mute the mains out without having to disconnect the loudspeakers from the system? Right now I have to turn off my monitors when recording with a microphone to recent feedback

Assuming powered monitors, I believe turning off the monitors is the only way.
