Replacing old DR-40, with? Maybe DR-07XP?

Tascam DR-40
I want to replace my old DR-40 due to hissy recordings of quiet sounds. I use built-in mics exclusively, mostly due to practicality, fit-in-pocket field recording runs, and mobility. I need to record quiet buttons, switches and levers in cars and aircraft, and when I need to bump the volume in post, I get a lot of hiss. Someone will say "get closer to the source", and I usually agree, but I also need to record a natural reverb or the car cabin or aircraft cockpit.
Now, I primarily wanted to go with Sony PCM A10, for it's lower noise floor and pretty compact size, but after more digging, I found out that Tascam DR-07XP is a bit cheaper, it's 32bit (PCM A10 isn't), and someone said it uses same capsules as Tascam X6, whatever that means audio quality wise.
Although the size is not the main feature I'm looking for since I can simply put it in a small shoulder bag, 32bit and "better" capsules are a nice bonus. Noise floor comparing to DR-40 is, I can freely say, significantly lower, and almost as quiet as on A10, maybe couple db of difference.

Can anyone vouch and compare the build-in mics (capsules) from 07XP versus DR-40, or even versus Sony PCM A10?

These hiss/noise samples of DR-40 vs DR-07XP vs A10, are created by ChatGPT. Although I can't vouch how credible they are, I find the difference quite significant to get rid of DR-40 on a first place:
