Hi I have bought a Tascam DP24SD I already have a Roland Boss Dr 880 Drum Machine . I want to hook up the Drum Machine to the Tascam recorder I am having a few issues with the Drum Machine ( Cutting and saratchy sounding ) so im not sure if I am doing it wrong , or the machine is screwed up Please can anyone tell me what cords go where ? Thanks , Fred

First make sure the scratching sound isn't from the Drum Machine.
Then check that the cable you are using isn't causing the problems.

Then set up the recording like this:
1) Connect audio from your Drum Machine to input A
2) Press "Assign" on your DP24 and set channel 1 to A
3) Press record on channel 1

What SD card are you using?

32 GB . Thanks for your help, I was having trouble with the volume on the Drum machine . I got it by moving the volume around , have been able to record . I'm going to take it in for a "check up " . It needs to be cleaned up . So far I love the DP24 , but the drum machine has way better Guitar effects and , Bass and Drums . If the DP24 had the effects , bass , and drums it would be hard to beat . I don't know if you own , or have ever used the Boss DR880 Drum machine , it's a great drum machine .
Thanks Again , Fred
