Send effects in mixdown

I can't seem to turn on any of the effects. I've read the manual and I must be missing something. No matter what I do I can't turn the send effects on. I'm on the mixer screen, I try to set up the effects, turn the send effects dial, but the little button next to the effects level says "off". How do you turn them on? Thank you.

Nevermind. I was on the mixdown mode, not the mixer screen. How do I delete a post?

LOL Don,t worry about it,Im constantly eq ing the wrong track because I forget to change select.
