Ss8io-1 and ssio-3 tdif to dm3200

Hi,
I'm trying to use this interfaces via TDIF with my trusty DM3200, got this cable from ALVA.com http://tinyurl.com/hpzvyah
but don't have audio in either direction; only noise on ch7 and 8; any help would be much appreciated!

Hello @keymanpal Sounds to me like you are using an older Soundscape DAW. Is that correct? I will be doing the very same thing in the not too distant future. Except, in my case, I am using a ReD32 which offers 3 TDIF connectors at the rear panel as well. Please keep us updated as to how your issue is progressing. Wish I could help. Good luck. Peter

Note: I also noticed that on the ALVA page it mentions this in the cable specifications:

I wonder if that could make a difference. AES/EBU vs TDIF pinouts etc..

Sorry @Peter Batah you were the only one to say something and it did help, at least raise the doubt - its not the right cable for the job!

Yeah, someone could shout right of the bat, “Thats the wrong cable dude”

I'm sure I'm only one more caught in the DB-25 many use cases out there ;-(

Socks up and I can say both interfaces work great with the DM (cable TDIF-1 v1.1 search for that pinout))
